Submissions
The Linden Review invites submissions of personal essays, memoir, flash, experimental, lyric, immersion reportage, graphic memoir, hermit crab, and other sub-genres of creative nonfiction. Surprise us! Word count, focus, and style vary by issue, so please read the issue's Submissions Guidelines carefully. We rarely accept anything over 5000 words. Please wait to submit another essay for consideration until a decision has been made on your first submission. Simultaneous submissions are OK; let us know immediately if work is accepted elsewhere.
We do not currently accept poetry or fiction. Each published essay is paired with visual art created by students or faculty affiliated with the University of Nebraska at Omaha. At this time, we do not accept submissions of visual art, nor do we accept written work from faculty, staff, or students affiliated with UNO except for our blog series, "Community Voices."
